Reputation marked a significant shift in Taylor’s music style, incorporating elements of R&B, electropop and trap. Amid her Eras Tour, Taylor released The Tortured Poets Department. The black and white album with aesthetics of dark academia covers themes of emotional tumult, mourning, self-awareness and delusion.
